Could 7-year-old Gina Incandela be the reason the Orlando Magic are on a winning streak? I think so!
Gina, who is autistic, has been wowing crowds with her rendition of the National Anthem at recent Orlando Magic games. Not only does she have a beautiful voice, but the fact that she is even singing is remarkable. Gina did not speak until she was three and it was through music therapy that she truly found her “voice.”
But Gina has brought more to games that just her talent – she’s brought luck. Every playoff game that Gina has sung at so far, the Orlando Magic team has won.
Check out the YouTube video of Gina singing here.
This is another great example of how music therapy has made an impact on a child’s development. We’ve got some positive reviews about the therapy on our treatments page, but would love to add to it. Have you tried music therapy and, if so, has it worked?
Best,
Jenifer
